Our Story
Ground Alchemy began as a neighbourhood cafe, and that hasn’t changed. What has changed is the care behind it. A new chapter is underway, one built around the same idea the name has always pointed to: that something simple, given enough attention, becomes something else entirely. Flour and water, given time, become a 72-hour sourdough. Green beans, given craft, become the coffee in your cup.
We’re refining the space, the menu and the details, gradually and with intention, while keeping the warmth that made this corner of New Farm feel like home. The kitchen leans on local growers and makers. The room is quieter now, built for lingering. What stays constant is the food: considered, seasonal, and made properly.
